Our restaurant is the passion project of our esteemed chef, whose culinary journey began at a young age and has been marked by remarkable achievements. At the age of 23, our chef earned his place in the Junior Culinary Team SA and showcased his skills on the global stage at the 2012 Culinary Olympics in Germany. His excellence continued as he competed with the Senior team, winning a bronze medal and first place in Kitchen Hygiene at the Dubai World Hospitality Tour in 2013.
In partnership with Joao Felizardo, a Port Alfred local and a respected member of the NSRI, The Chef Pantry is more than just a restaurant—it’s a community hub.
