Cumberland House

Cumberland House is a beautiful historic building dating back to the earliest days of Port Alfred in the 1830s. It has been lovingly restored to its full glory, and commands one of the finest locations in the town, with sea views overlooking the river mouth and marina. There are three large guest rooms in the main guest house, and two self-catering cottages as well as secure off road parking in the gartdens. Cumberland Cottage has a king size bed and is located in the courtyard of the house, a perfect retreat and ideal for couples. Cumberland Garden House is located in the gardens with its own parking and braai areas. It boasts three full size bedrooms and a spacious lounge dining area, with separate kitchen.
