K-Day (Makhanda/Grahamstown)

K-Day 2024 this year will be hosted by St Andrew’s College, DSG and Prep.

K-Day will culminate in the rugby clash between the 1st XV Rugby teams of Kingswood and St Andrew’s College; the 1st Girls Kingswood and DSG Netball teams on Saturday. The days preceding will have Makhanda buzzing from the sporting fields (hockey, rugby, golf) to the courts (squash and netball), the debating halls to the music departments.

It’s a week to celebrate sportsmanship, friendships and the spirit of camaraderie and fun as the power of sport brings us all together.

K-Day also heralds the coming together of Old Boys and Girls from all three schools and we look forward to welcoming all our other visitors to our small town.
